Kristin + Steve

I probably got carried away with the number of pictures posted on my blog from Kristin and Steve’s wedding, but it was hard to select just a handful! I finally stopped myself before I posted the entire wedding.
With each wedding and even family shoot, I get a tickle of butterflies in my stomach. For Kristin and Steve’s wedding, it was more like a swarm of bees…but in a good way. =) For weeks, I was completely anxious and excited to photograph their wedding. I gave Kristin an advance notice not to be surprised if I showed up a little early. =) After photographing their engagement session back in November, I knew they would be just a fun couple to shoot and be around. They were both so laid back and cool all day long. It was a little eerie how well everything was going…and without a wedding planner. For days, it was gloomy and rainy and the sky opened up just for Kristin and Steve’s day. Pardon the cliche, but it was picture perfect! Thanks for a great time. It was truly a pleasure and an honor…and a big thank you to the dancing guests for giving us a big chuckle.
One of the highlights of the getting ready was seeing Nicole Palermo, my super-fabulous, uber-talented makeup artist that did my wedding day makeup almost 4 years ago. I haven’t seen her since and I think we both screamed out loud in excitement when we saw each other. I love her to pieces and it was so fun to run into her again. She did an amazing job on everyone!

I’m probably getting ahead of myself here, but I couldn’t resist.
